Fiber Stats
- 2 ounces per batt
- 50% romney wool/50% superfine kid mohair
- Mohair from the fleece used in this batt tested at an average of 21 microns.
All of the spinning fiber marked PNW was either produced directly on my farm or sourced from local, small farmers in the Pacific Northwest who are passionate about their flocks. The mohair for this batt came from the first shearing of my angora wether, Finrod (pictured :)) and was blended with Romney wool from a local sheep, before being dyed.
Note: As this fiber was processed by hand from happy sheep and goats doing what livestock do best (getting dirty!), some small amounts of VM may be found in the batt. These should easily come out while spinning.
Care Instructions
Hand wash in cool water. Dry flat. Some bleeding may occur.
A Note on Color Variations
Due to the nature of hand dyed spinning fiber, each roving or batt is a unique work of art. Color tone and placement may vary from one to the next.
Although I have done my best to take pictures that accurately represent each colorway, each device may display colors differently. As such, colors may appear slightly different in person than they did on your screen.

All orders ship via USPS in the order they were received. In stock (non-dyed to order) skeins will ship within 3-5 business days, depending on order volume.
